Wyatt Moyer is a Stewardship Specialist here at North American Land Trust (NALT), hired in 2021. Wyatt serves a multitude of roles, while his primary duties entail monitoring our conservation easements for compliance across the United States, concentrating on properties in the northeast. As a newer staff member at NALT, Wyatt is working to establish landowner relationships and provide technical guidance when needed. When Wyatt is not monitoring, he can be found at Brinton Run Preserve, assisting in the programming and management of the property and exploring new ways to engage and interact with the surrounding community.
Wyatt has roots in central Pennsylvania, but has lived in South Carolina, Virginia, New York, and Delaware. He attended Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania, obtaining a B.S. in Geography with a concentration in Environmental Studies & Sustainability, and a M.S. in Park & Resource Management.
Wyatt has previous work experience managing invasive species throughout Allegheny National Forest, educating the public on Aquatic Invasive Species (AIS) for New York State Parks and new trail construction and conservation projects with the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) throughout southcentral Alaska. Wyatt’s passion for the environment extends to his hobbies, as he enjoys competitive angling, boating, camping, and traveling.
