Wyatt Moyer
Environment Scientist
Wyatt Moyer is an Environmental Scientist here at North American Land Trust (NALT), hired in 2021. Wyatt serves a multitude of roles, while his primary duties entail monitoring our conservation easements for compliance across the United States, concentrating on easements in the northeast. Wyatt works to establish/maintain landowner relationships among our easement holders and provide technical management guidance when needed. When Wyatt is not monitoring, he can be found at Brinton Run Preserve, assisting in the programming and management of the property.
Wyatt has roots in central Pennsylvania, but has lived in South Carolina, Virginia, New York, and Delaware. He attended Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania, where he obtained a B.S. in Geography, concentrating in Environmental Studies & Sustainability. Wyatt also obtained his M.S. from Slippery Rock University in Park & Resource Management.
Wyatt has previous work experience managing invasive species throughout Allegheny National Forest, educating the public on Aquatic Invasive Species (AIS) for New York State Parks and new trail construction and conservation projects with the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) throughout southcentral Alaska. Wyatt’s passion for the environment extends to his hobbies, as he enjoys competitive angling, boating, camping, and traveling.
